Clean Energy
The growth of the world’s capacity to generate electricity from solar panels is on course to accelerate over the coming years and innovation is bringing down the cost every year. Nepal is blessed with solar resource as it lies at 30 degrees northern latitude which is ideal and there are over 300 days of sunshine annually. Further, the annual average solar insolation is 5kWh/m² per day which is perfect for harnessing solar energy for various conversion technologies. Thus, the scope of solar energy in Nepal is tremendous.
Power Group is currently engaged in building its first 9.7 mW solar energy project in Kapilbastu district which is in Lumbini province. We are also correspondingly working on other ten different solar projects located in various regions of Nepal. We welcome investors and entrepreneurs who are planning to venture in the solar energy field to tie with us.
